Skid Plate Development by using Topography Optimization

The objective of this paper is to show that how the development skid plate can achieve without increasing gauge and upgrading material properties. There are certain factors which influence such as rail width, shape, ground clearance, attachment points, load coming on general shape object for it plate's design purpose protect (transfer case, fuel tank etc.). This document also covers CAE procedure evaluate performance structural integrity under static condition vehicles. Bead plays an important role increase stiffness but challenge decide bead patterns pattern be achieved by using topography optimization approach. should absorb damage underneath parts vehicle function ability. will demonstrate a few ways successful while gaining some other unexpected benefits described herein.
